If you want to help with the 2012 School Supply Drive but are overwhelmed with all the options – hopefully this will help. You can follow any one of these options, or combine them as desired. (ie – you might want to sponsor a student AND buy some gift cards). If you want to print out a copy of this info - you can download it HERE.
IF YOU WANT TO SPONSOR A STUDENT(S) – starting on July 16:
Go to our website and look at the list of available students (no names are given; sorted by gender and school level).
Decide how many students you are willing to sponsor and what grade and gender.
Upon confirmation from a T&E Care representative – you are free to go shopping!
Complete a copy of the Donation Check List (on the website) after you go shopping and include this with your items.
Drop your items and Donation Check List off at one of the drop-off locations (listed on the website) on or before July 30.
IF YOU WANT TO GET GIFT CARDS – at any time prior to July 30:
Decide which stores you want to get gift cards for – get whatever amount you want, though the easiest for us to work with is $25 increments. (Acme, Pathmark, Wegmans, Target, Walmart, Kmart, Famous Footwear, TJ Maxx, Staples are best options – the cards can be used for food or clothes or extra supplies,)
Send a note to us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we know to expect what’s coming. You don’t need to wait for confirmation before you go shopping.
