your received an application in the mail - get it sent in ASAP! If you
are new to LIHEAP - there is lots of information to be found at http://www.dpw.state.pa.us/foradults/heatingassistanceliheap/S_000960/, including how to apply.
The
Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, also known as LIHEAP,
helps low-income families pay their heating bills. LIHEAP is a grant
that offers assistance in the form of a cash grant, sent directly to the
utility company, or a crisis grant for households in immediate danger
of being without heat. There is a great FAQ that you can download here →. Remember - eventually LIHEAP runs out of money. You can only
apply once a year - so why not do it now while they still have
funding!!!! It is handed out on a first come, first served basis. (Funding was cut in half this year so it will be limited!)
