Come to Friend Fitness for a fresh start!

Local students in grades 6-12 are invited to apply to Friend Fitness to receive mentoring assistance.  This program is designed to develop a strong work ethic (character), build mental toughness (resilience, perseverance) and master goal setting skills through intense weekly workouts.

Students can be referred to Friend Fitness by school counselors, parents, or other relatives because  it is believed that they would benefit from the additional support of a positive & caring adult role model.   Friend Fitness has been offered free-of-charge locally over the last 10 years through a partnership with the T/E School District, Upper Main Line YMCA and the Youth Mentoring Partnership.

Sessions meet on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings during the school year, and Monday and Thursday evenings during the summer.    For more information about applying, contact Chris Major at Chris@youthmp.org or call 610-249-9631.  Go to www.youthmp.org to read more about this exciting program.
